Why do we care about air quality?

Poor air quality affects health and well being. There are links between respiratory illnesses and air pollution. Air pollution seems to affect most children, the elderly and the chronically ill.

Air pollution affects how trees and plants grow. It also affects animals, water quality and visibility.
