Marine forecast for Halifax harbour and approaches issued by 
Environment Canada at 8.00 PM AST Saturday 9 December 2006 for 
tonight and Sunday with an outlook for Monday.
The next scheduled forecast will be issued at 3.00 AM Sunday.

Halifax harbour and approaches.
Winds light increasing southwest 15 knots overnight then to southwest 
20 to 25 Sunday morning. Winds increasing to southwest 25 to 30 with 
gusts to 35 in the approaches Sunday afternoon then diminishing to 
westerly 20 to 25 Sunday evening. Cloudy with chance of flurries or 
showers overnight. Cloudy with sunny periods Sunday. Fog patches 
forming overnight and lifting Sunday morning. Visibility good except 
fair in precipitation and poor in fog. Temperature rising to plus 2 
overnight. High 7 on Sunday.
Outlook for Monday..Moderate northwesterlies increasing to strong 
northwesterlies.
