Site-Specific Weather Forecasts

Weather forecasting is our specialty - and our most used service. Meteorological Service of Canada - Atlantic can offer clients site-specific weather forecasts for many locations in Atlantic Canada and its surrounding waters. These detailed forecasts of precipitation, cloud, wind, temperature and dew point temperature are available in alphanumeric or graphical format.

Direct Consultation

Meteorological Service of Canada - Atlantic offers 900 Telephone Services for specialized weather forecasts and one-on-one consultations with our weather experts 24 hours a day.

  • Weather One-on-One 1-900-565-5555 offers direct weather consultation to meet your business or recreational needs at $2.99/minute.
  • Weather Menu 1-900-565-5000 offers regularly updated, recorded weather information for Atlantic Canada and major centers across the country to meet your travel needs at $.95/minute.

Flexible Data Delivery Services

Meteorological Service of Canada - Atlantic provides direct data delivery options:

  • Our Commercial Web Site provides subscribers with up-to-date public, marine and extended forecasts, site specific forecasts, and radar and satellite imagery.
  • Our Autofax Service delivers weather information to subscribers via an automated facsimile service. You can specify the type of product you want, and when you want it.
  • Our E-Mail and FTP Services are available to clients who require large amounts of routine delivery of weather data.

Climate Services

Our climate service experts at the Atlantic Climate Centre provide valuable information for engineers and consultants who regularly integrate climate data into their work. The effort of atmospheric and climate scientists of Meteorological Service of Canada - Atlantic who study climate change can help businesses anticipate future demands that the climate may impose upon them.
