Atmospheric Chemistry

The mission of the Atmospheric Chemistry section of the Atmospheric Science Division is to improve knowledge of the chemistry of the atmosphere and its influence on human and ecosystem health.

There are five main areas of research within the Atmospheric Chemistry section: Ground Level Ozone, Fog Chemistry and Acid Deposition; Fog Chemistry, Atmospheric Mercury, and long term atmospheric chemistry measurement programs delivered through the Canadian Climate and Radiation [Core] Network.
