Marine forecast for Halifax harbour and approaches issued by 
Environment Canada at 3.00 AM AST Sunday 10 December 2006 for today 
and Monday with an outlook for Tuesday.
The next scheduled forecast will be issued at 10.00 AM.

Halifax harbour and approaches.
Gale warning issued.
Winds southwest 10 to 15 knots with gusts to 20 in the approaches 
increasing to southwest 25 this morning. Winds increasing to 
southwest 30 to 35 near noon then diminishing to westerly 20 to 25 
this evening. Winds diminishing to northwest 15 to 20 near midnight 
and to northwest 10 to 15 Monday morning. Cloudy with sunny periods 
with a chance of morning flurries or showers. Cloudy tonight. Cloudy 
with sunny periods on Monday then clearing in the evening. Visibility 
good. High 6 today. Low 2 tonight. Temperature steady near 2 on 
Monday then falling to zero in the evening.
Outlook for Tuesday..Moderate to strong northerlies diminishing to 
light.
