My green resolution

A New Year’s resolution is a commitment that an individual makes to a project or a habit, often a lifestyle change that is generally interpreted as advantageous such as eating better or exercising.

This year, to follow the tradition, why not make a green resolution? A resolution that holds positive impacts for our environment and for the planet…

Share your green resolution with all!

The Biosphère invites you to send your green resolution to info.biosphere@ec.gc.ca (also indicate your location and how many people are making this resolution). The most original resolutions will be published on the Biosphère’s Web site in order to share best environmental practices.

The 1st Québec Recycling-Artists Eco Fair: A great success!

Some of the participating artists
The Biosphère presented on December 2nd and 3rd the Québec Recycling-Artists Eco Fair which gathered more than 25 artists and their eco-friendly jewels, clothing, exclusive accessories, and decorative and practical items created from recovered materials.

Visitors came to find new ideas for eco-friendly gifts. The event was so successful that Visitors enjoyed the musical performances of percussionist of KUMPA'NIA.there may be a 2nd edition in 2007.

The Fair was organized in collaboration with Les Papillons Verts, a company dedicated to the promotion of Québec recycling-artists and their work.

The demonstrations and eco-creative workshops have also had their popularity. These will continue to be held every weekend in December and daily from December 27th until January 7th.
