Temperature Anomalies Maps

These maps show the  departure of mean monthly or seasonal temperature from the long-term average or Normal. Negative temperature anomalies indicate that it was colder than Normal. Positive values indicate warmer than Normal. 1971 – 2000 is the Normal period.
