Precipitation Anomalies Maps

These precipitation anomaly maps show the monthly or seasonal precipitation as a percentage of the long-term average or Normal. Precipitation is made up of the combination of rainfall and snowfall. Values less than 100% indicate that the precipitation was less than Normal while values greater than 100% mean that more than Normal precipitation occurred. 1971-2000 is the Normal period.
