To protect and improve aquatic ecosystem health and human well-being
in the Georgia Basin, GBAP strives to increase our understanding
of the sources, distribution and impacts of key toxic substances
through inventories and research.
GBAP projects also support the
development of best management practices to reduce impacts from: agricultural and stormwater runoff, community-based approaches for watershed management and remediation of closed shellfish harvesting areas.
