Security and Emergency Preparedness

- First Nations of Quebec Emergency Preparedness Plans External Link - a new browser window will open

The First Nations of Quebec Emergency Preparedness Plans includes a series of actions to be taken when an emergency situation occurs in order to ensure the safety of all members of First Nations communities, as well as the delivery of essential services intended for them. Each First Nations community in Quebec is responsible for the management of its emergency preparedness plan and access to the plan is restricted to the Emergency Preparedness Coordinator of the community in question.

The Business Continuity Plan of the Quebec Regional Office of Indian and Northern Affairs Canada is designed as a series of actions for employee safety and the reconstruction of workplaces, while maintaining the delivery of essential services intended for Aboriginal people. Access to the Business Continuity Plan of the Quebec Regional Office of Indian and Northern Affairs Canada is restricted to the members of the Regional Emergency Response Team.
