Public Input Invited for Antenna Towers ConsultationOTTAWA, September 16, 2003 — All Canadians are invited, until October 17, 2003, to submit their comments to the National Antenna Tower Policy Review being conducted by David A. Townsend, Professor of Law, and his team at the University of New Brunswick, with support from the National Antenna Tower Advisory Committee.
Allan Rock, Minister of Industry, announced the National Antenna Tower Policy Review on March 28, 2003. Professor Townsend will consult with the public on improvements to the existing policy and siting procedures for antenna tower placement.
Canadians are invited to submit comments via e-mail or regular mail. Professor Townsend's team has established an e-Town Hall Web site, complete with discussion forums and a questionnaire, to field public views at http://www.antennareview.ca.
