National Antenna Tower Policy Review

February 18, 2005 — Industry Canada announces the release of the Report on the National Antenna Tower Policy Review . This review was led by Professor David A. Townsend, Professor of Law at the University of New Brunswick, with the support and assistance of the National Antenna Tower Review Advisory Committee.

The objective of the consultation was to examine possible improvements to Industry Canada's existing antenna tower siting policies and approval procedures. The department received Professor Townsend’s Report on the National Antenna Tower Policy Review on December 6, 2004, and is currently reviewing its findings and recommendations.
