We’re Growing and Changing!
This year we have decided to examine our program in order to ensure that it is in line with evolving departmental education and engagement objectives. We also hope to work with students and educators to make certain that the Great Acts for Great Lakes program is as useful and relevant to teachers as possible. Over this 2006-2007 school year, we will be undertaking a planning exercise to revamp the Great Acts for Great Lakes program, in order to have a new and improved program ready to go by September 2007.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate you interest in Great Acts for Great Lakes.
We will therefore not be accepting submissions at this time, but look forward to rejoining you in September 2007. Check this site periodically for updates on the Great Acts for Great Lakes Program and to find out when we’ll have the new and improved program up and running!
In the meantime, have a great school year and remember that protecting the Great Lakes is all of our responsibility. And please remember that you can continue to visit our Virtual School at any time for information on environmental issues affecting the Great Lakes. You may even wish to do your own Great Acts for Great Lakes Challenge!
