The wood industry on Prince Edward Island has relied mainly on “word of mouth” for buyers and sellers of wood products to find each other. In today’s wired and electronic world there are more advanced methods that can more efficiently match buyers and sellers of wood products. The Virtual Wood Yard could become the medium of choice and the cornerstone for the advancement of the wood products industry in P.E.I.
