Community Boundaries Guideline for communities to establish or revise boundaries under the Cities, Towns and Villages Act or the Hamlets Act. Community Empowerment Contributions Guideline defining circumstances under which community organizations may receive funding. Community Transportation Facilities Contribution Guideline for funding capable, willing communities for new or improved local access roads, inter-community roads or trails and marine facilities. Contributions for Community-Organized Searches for Missing Persons Guideline to assist eligible community-organized searches for missing persons under Civil Emergency Measures Act, prior to/after public searches organized by RCMP or other federal agencies. Disaster Assistance Guides the GN in assisting communities sustaining significant loss as a result of a disaster and/or responding to emergencies caused by a disaster. Grants-in-Lieu of Property Taxes Guideline under which the GN can give tax-based communities grants equivalent to property taxes, in lieu of payment. Land Development Policy Guides community governments' land development, protects public safety, economic efficiency, community health and sustainability.

Lot Pricing Policy Establishes a method for determining fair, consistent prices for Commissioner's land leases, reflective of development costs and consistent with prices of municipally owned lots. Municipal Capital Assistance Guideline for funding community governments and/or designated community authorities for capital infrastructure projects. Municipal Operating Assistance Guideline for formula funding to assist community governments to deliver programs and services. Negotiated Transportation Contracts Guideline for GN support of local business involvement in construction/operation or maintenance of transportation infrastructure. Sport and Recreation Grants and Contributions Guidelines for funding development/delivery of opportunities for sport, community recreation leadership and cultural games. Water and Sewage Grants and Contributions Guideline for subsidizing the high cost of providing water and sewage services to users.
