The following guidelines are for the guidance of personnel engaged in the frequency selection process. While slight variations may be made to accommodate local needs, it is recommended that the guidelines be adhered to as closely as possible. Accurate records are necessary to analyze and rectify any possible deficiencies in the frequency selection process because of the consequences of errors should an assignment prove incompatible.
