![]() IPC-2-1-02 - Temporary, Special Event and "On-Site" Assignments
PDF Format, 19
KB The intent of this circular is to provide licensing policy information to Radio Inspectors and other Departmental personnel for assigning frequencies designated for temporary use, as a low power "on site" frequency or as a special event frequency. These are used to meet the requirement to assign a frequency when there is an immediate and short term need for radio communications for a fixed, mobile or land mobile radio system (system definitions are contained in Private Commercial Licensing- General). The frequencies available for temporary and special event operations that will be discussed here are those designated as low power "on site", special event and temporary frequencies. Licensing procedures are covered in the Internal Procedures Circular entitled Temporary, Special Event and "On Site" Assignments. |
