The purpose of this cost recovery initiative is to provide
departmental staff with an administrative mechanism that enables the
recovery of costs for investigative services offered to the power
utilities and other organizations. Where practicable, costs will be
recovered from those to whom services are directly provided. With the
inception of a cost recovery scheme, the organizations most
responsible for hydro interference will be encouraged to resolve the
problems created by their distribution systems.
