The downloadable RealPlayer for RealAudio and RealMedia files is available free of charge from the Real.com WWW site.

NOTE that the company offers on the same page a version called "RealPlayer Plus", for which there is a charge. The free version is called RealPlayer 8 Basic.

1. Click on the link above to access the site.
2. Click on the RealPlayer 8 Basic (free player) link in the middle of the screen.
3. Complete the user information form:

• type your e-mail address in the text box supplied.
• select the country from the drop-down menu.
• select the required OS (operating system - Windows, Mac, etc.) from the dropdown menu.
• select your preferred language from the drop-down menu.
• select the the required connection speed from the list provided.

Press the Download FREE RealPlayer Basic 8 button to initiate a download.
The player must then be installed on your computer before it can be used.
