For the fourth consecutive edition of KPMG's "Competitive Alternatives" study- covering the G7 countries along with 4 other countries- Canada won top honors. Compared to a benchmark group of U.S. cities, comparable Atlantic Canadian cities had after-tax cost saving averaging 11.6%. Atlantic Canadian cities also performed strongly in the following sectors: Manufacturing, Software and Research and Development boasting cost advantages of 7.9%, 17.0% and 29.7% respectively.
