IOGC is organized into four divisions:

  • Executive is accountable for overall agency planning and direction, operational policy, the First Nations Oil and Gas Management Initiative, communications, executive and legal services;
  • Land is responsible for negotiations, research, surface and subsurface agreements and environment;
  • Production is responsible for royalties, engineering and geology, and corporate informatics; and,
  • Planning and Corporate Services deals with corporate planning, administrative policy, human resources, finance, contracts and administration.
