Environment Minister David Anderson Announces $2.9 Million for Community Environmental Projects

The Honourable David Anderson, Minister of the Environment, today announced $2.9 million in funding for 96 environmental projects in communities across Canada. In Atlantic Canada, 31 projects were approved for a total commitment of $664,087.

NEW POLLUTION PREVENTION PROGRAM FOR NOVA SCOTIA BUSINESSES

The Government of Canada and the Province of Nova Scotia today launched a one year pilot program to help small and medium-sized businesses develop pollution prevention plans to improve their environmental performance while increasing competitiveness.  News Release
