Comparative Review of HSE Requirements for Specified Offshore Fabrication Activities
Lloyd’s Register EMEA have carried out a review of representative Canadian and foreign Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) standards,
practices and procedures applied in various divisions of the offshore construction industry. The principal purpose of this review is to
identify whether adherence to Canadian HSE standards places Canadian companies at a significant disadvantage in terms of cost, and hence
competitiveness, when compared to other similar activities conducted elsewhere in the world.
