CBDC - Community Business Development Corporations The Community Business Development Corporations (CBDCs) are autonomous, not-for-profit corporations that serve rural Atlantic Canada and are supported by The Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA). They assist in the creation of small businesses, and in the expansion, modernization and stabilization of existing businesses. CBDCs offer both technical and financial services for
entrepreneurs in their respective regions. Investment decisions are made by independent local board of directors sensitive to the needs of their community.

For more information about the CBDCs, visit www.cbdc.ca
