Section 21 of the Government Organization Act, Atlantic Canada, 1987 requires the Agency to report to Parliament every five years. The reports for each of the five-year periods are available below.
It is increasingly apparent that the standard of living and quality of life enjoyed by Canadians is linked directly to the health of our environment. It is essential, therefore, that we all continue to do what we can to protect our air, water and soil - and the life sustained by each. ACOA's Sustainable Development strategy encourages activities that minimize negative environmental impacts while, at the same time, support our commitment to the long-term development and competitiveness of Atlantic Canada.
Government On-Line is the Government of Canada's plan to deliver programs, services and information over the Internet. ACOA's Government On-Line strategy will be implemented over the next three years to enable Atlantic Canadians to request and receive services and information when and where it is most convenient for them, wherever they live.
