Canada Student Loans Program (CSLP) - Statistics

The statistics on this site relate to the total of all negotiated loan certificates for the selected years for full-time students. The value of the loans and accumulated debts represent the Canada Student Loan portion of the student's borrowing only. Most students will also have provincial or territorial student loans. These amounts are not included in the statistics. Also, these statistics do not include student borrowing in the Northwest Territories, Nunavut or the province of Quebec, since these jurisdictions do not participate in the CSLP.
