SUMMARY OF DEFICIENCIES
For the Year 1999

A total of 318 inspections were recorded.
216 Units or (68%) had one or more deficiencies distributed as follows:

124 deficiencies Stowage/Securing were found (in 39% of inspections).

 

80 deficiencies Placarding and marking were found (in 25% of inspections).

 

47 deficiencies Documentation were found (in 15% of inspections).

 

34 deficiencies Labeling (of packages) were found (in 11% of inspections).

 

22 deficiencies Packaging (inappropriate or damaged) were found (in 7% of inspections).

 

13 deficiencies Other were found (in 4% of inspections).

 

12 deficiencies Container Safety Convention (CSC) Safety Approval Plate were found (in 4% of inspections).

 

1 deficiency Segregation of cargo was found (in <1% of inspections).
