Here are some frequently asked questions about the online Statement of Contributions request form:



When I selected "Submit" on the request form, an error message told me I had entered an invalid social insurance number. What happened?
You may not have completed this field, or you may not have entered your nine-digit number. We require a nine-digit social insurance number to process the request.

When I selected "Submit" on the request form, an error message told me I had entered an invalid postal code. What happened?
You may have entered a non-Canadian postal code or an incomplete postal code, or forgotten to complete this field. We require a Canadian postal code to complete the request.

If you have lived or worked in Quebec, you may have contributed to the Quebec Pension Plan. You will need to contact the Régie des rentes du Québec (RRQ) for further information.

How do I close my browser?
To close your browser, select the "X" on the top right hand corner of your screen or you can select the "File" menu and choose the "Close" option.

How do I clear my browser cache (where the contents of all the pages that I have visited are held)?
Select the browser you are using:
Netscape Communicator 4 (any version)
Microsoft Internet Explorer 4 (any version)
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 (any version)

Note: If you are using another browser, please refer to your browser's documentation on memory/disk caching.

Netscape Communicator 4:

  1. From your browser menu, select "Edit"
  2. From the drop-down menu, select "Preferences"
  3. Under the "Category" list (on the left side of the "Preferences" window), open the sub-menu for "Advanced" by selecting the "+" symbol
  4. From the "Advanced" sub-menu, select "Cache"
  5. From the "Cache" window, select "Clear Memory Cache" and on the "Memory Cache" window, select "OK"
  6. From the "Cache" window, select "Clear Disk Cache" and on the "Disk Cache" window, select "OK"
  7. Select "OK" at the bottom of the "Preferences" window

Microsoft Internet Explorer 4:

  1. From your browser menu, select "View"
  2. From the drop-down menu, select "Internet Options"
  3. From the "Internet Options" window, select "General"
  4. From the "General" tab, look for the "Temporary Internet Files" section near the middle of the window and select "Delete Files"
  5. A new window appears with the question "Delete all files in Temporary Internet Files Folder?"; select "OK"
  6. Select "OK" at the bottom of the "Internet Options" window

Microsoft Internet Explorer 5:

  1. From your browser menu, select "Tools"
  2. From the drop-down menu, select "Internet Options"
  3. From the "Internet Options" window, select "General"
  4. From the "General" tab, look for the "Temporary Internet Files" section near the middle of the window and select "Delete Files"
  5. A new window appears with the question "Delete all files in Temporary Internet Files Folder?"; select "OK"
  6. Select "OK" at the bottom of the "Internet Options" window
