Arts Degree

(0101)
An Arts degree is the most flexible degree you can get because it gives you a solid background in the skills employers want - in particular, writing and critical thinking skills. An Arts degree can include majors in history, English, French, communications, art history, philosophy, religious studies, political science, liberal arts, humanities, women's studies, etc. Occupations include everything from business, banking, retailing, insurance, real estate, writing, editing, journalism, analysts, research, film production, travel and tourism, public relations, personnel, human services, education, teaching in college or university, fund-raising, politics, government (all levels), advertising, and marketing research to management positions in an endless number of professions. Consider any previous work and/or volunteer experiences that you have gained as well as other interests and skills that you possess to help you choose the career path that best suits your abilities, skills, interests and aptitudes.
