TDC hosted a meeting of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Ice Detection Standards Working Group at its Montreal office on April 25 to 27, 2006. The working group is an expert subgroup of the SAE G-12 Ice Detection Subcommittee that is developing new international standards for aircraft ground icing detection systems. Members are drawn from airlines, aircraft and equipment manufacturers, employee associations, civil aviation authorities, and research centres from around the world. Consultant Frank Eyre chaired the meeting on behalf of TDC. Senior Development Officer Barry B. Myers also attended.
