Out-of-Province Liaison Program

What is the Out-of-Province Liaison Program?

The Program was established to provide Prince Edward Island patients and their families who must travel out of province for medical treatment with a resource to contact concerning their care.

What Service Does the Program Offer?

  • provides assistance to PEI patients and their families who must receive health care services out of province;
  • provides a linkage to health care professionals on behalf of PEI patients and their health care needs;
  • provides assistance with discharge planning needs of PEI patients.
Who is the Program For?
The Out-of-Province Liaison Program is for PEI patients and their families who receive emergency services or have obtained prior approval to receive medical services out of province.
