Where can I get information on housing services?

The Social Housing Program has two major components: the Seniors Housing Program and the Family Housing Program.

The Seniors Housing Program provides self-contained apartment units to low and moderate income persons over 60 years of age. Rent is geared to total household income and is currently set at 30%. Seniors housing units are available in 38 communities across the province.

The Family Housing Program provides rental housing to low and moderate income families. Rent is geared to total family income and is currently set at 25%. Family housing units are available in 9 municipalities across the province.

The Housing Corporation Act is online as a PDF document.
