Association of Nurses of PEI

ANPEI is governed by a 13 member Council: 11 elected Registered Nurses (President, President Elect, Vice President and 8 Councillors) and two appointees including a public representative and a student representative.

ANPEI is a member of the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA). CNA is a national federation representing and speaking on behalf of the nursing profession both nationally and internationally. ANPEI's current President, Sylvia Poirier, is a voting member of the CNA Board of Directors. Through CNA, ANPEI is represented on the International Council of Nurses (ICN).
