Fulfilling a child's wish provides a brief escape from the harsh reality of their lives and offers a little happiness. Restoring time for togetherness and much needed laughter, not only helps the children, but provides fond memories to help ease the sorrow of the families they leave behind. Children's Wish Foundation of Canada Children's Wish Foundation of Canada's goal is to grant a one-time wish for children, between the ages of three and eighteen, who have been diagnosed with high risk, life threatening illnesses. The one-time wish requests must come from the child, medical contact, parents/legal guardian must indicate their intention.
