Business Initiative (WBI) Business Management Training
Allowance (BMTA) is designed to provide you with the
know-how and confidence you need to guide your business
to its fullest potential
The BMTA provides financial assistance to women business
owners who wish to undertake business management training
in such areas as:
Strategic Planning
Marketing
Human Resources
Business Operations
Finance and Accounting
Information Management
Pursuing Broader Opportunities for Business Growth
The Business Management Training Allowance will finance up
to 75% (to a maximum of $2,000) of approved training costs.
To be eligible, the business must be owned by a woman
or women who:
Own at least 50% of the business;
Have at least 51% of its operating control;
Are involved in the day-to-day running of the business.
All industry sectors are eligible.
