Securing our Future: A Renewal Strategy for Post-Secondary Research in Atlantic Canada, Discussion Paper, May 2000
This report was prepared for the Maritime Provinces Higher Education Commission with financial support from the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency. This strategic document presents highlights from the Commission's review of post-secondary research trends in Atlantic Canada and includes forward looking strategies and objectives for the future. This report demonstrates that Atlantic Canada has not yet participated fully in national and international research reinvestment. At the same time, it is clear that Atlantic Canadian universities are committed to working with governments and industry to capitalize on the talents of Atlantic Canadians and to secure the region's future within the national R&D; agenda.
