This program is 100% funded by the Government of Prince Edward Island and administered by the Employment Development Agency.
Who may apply?
Guidelines and Applications Students hired to fill positions of approved projects must be registered with the Central Jobs Registry. Application forms are available at your nearest Access PEI site or from the Related Forms section of this page. Forms Jobs For Youth Program: Non-profit Sector Employers Application If you are a non-profit organization and want to have Island students carry out projects of special significance to Island communitites, submit your application for funding here. The program is 100% funded by the Government of Prince Edward Island administered by the Employment Development Agency. Please review the guidelines before applying.
Jobs For Youth Program: Private Sector Employers Application If you are a private sector employer and would like to create new employment opportunities for Island students, you may submit your application directly to the staff at the Employment Development Agency. If your application is approved, you will be reimbursed 50% of the hourly wage up to a maximum of $3.72 per hour for up to 40 hours a week for eight to twelve weeks.
