Regional Clean Air Online (CAOL)

Canadians face many different clean air challenges within the expansive borders of our country. Proximity to pollution sources (domestic and international), weather patterns, geomorphology, geography, location of industrialized areas and major urban centres, and demographics, among many other considerations, all contribute to a diverse set of circumstances and subsequent air pollution concerns.

Where the national Clean Air Online (CAOL) presents a comprehensive but general overview of the clean air story, regional CAOL webpages assemble and present information that is relevant to a particular regional area. In doing so, regional CAOL websites emphasize and explore the many, and sometimes unique challenges and, importantly, opportunities for Canadians across this country.
