PEI Citizen Advocacy

The object is to involve competent volunteer citizens (advocates) in an individual commitment to advocate for one persons labeled (protege) who has unmet needs, and to speak and act in behalf of the protege to help them meet their needs and secure their rights. P.E.I. C.A. offers support and assistance to protege-advocate pairs, while assuring them independance and autonomy in the development of their relationship.
