In total around 30,000 positions will need to be filled, including both supervisory and non-supervisory positions. While individual positions involve work in either field or office locations, most of the positions will involve field work and will last for four to ten weeks. Recruitment for the 2006 Census positions is now underway so please visit Statistics Canada website for more information on the positions offered in your area. New positions will be posted as Census day (May 16, 2006) approaches.
