PEI Literacy Alliance

Literacy is... "The ability to understand and use printed material found at home, at work and in the community - to achieve one's goals and develop one's knowledge and potential."

Organizes and presents conferences and workshops. Creates partnerships to develop projects that meet learners needs.

Raises public awareness on issues related to literacy.

Provides information on and referral to literacy training and upgrading programs available throughout the province.
