Type I Centres - Early Childhood Centres

Early Childhood Centre: "...a facility whose primary objective is to provide an early childhood development program emphasizing age-appropriate activities."

Early childhood centres include:
- full or half-day programs for mixed age groups
- 3 hour program for 5 year olds
- half-day program for 3 to 4 year olds
