Special Needs Grants for Licensed Early Childhood Centres

Where can I find information/application for Special Needs Grants for Licensed Early Childhood Centres?

For the purpose of this grant a child with special needs is defined as a person who, in order to attain the usual development goals, requires additional and/or specific types of stimulation/care.

Children who would normally fall into this population include those with issues relating to: mobility, cognition, development delay, vision or hearing loss, speech, behavioral issues and children who have multiple disabilities.

Parents in this situation should discuss program content at length with the supervisor of the centre. If the child has a special need, then the program should respond in a special way to the need.
