Financial Capability is a term gaining more and more attention in Canada.  Read SEDI's discussion paper, Financial Capability and Poverty, to get a sense of the background of this term and our recommendations for future policy action.  This paper was commissioned by the Policy Research initiative and originally published in July 2004.

Using our discussion paper as a starting point, SEDI co-organized this first ever event on Financial Capability in June 2005.  Click here to view Symposium details and presentations.
