Soil, Feed and Water Chemistry Testing Laboratory
THE SOIL AND FEED TESTING LABORATORY of the Prince Edward Island Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Aquaculture is a modern, accredited testing facility providing the most up-to-date and accurate chemical analysis on soil, feed, plant tissue and greenhouse media. The Soil and Feed Testing Laboratory also provides specialized tests such as seed germination, manure and compost analysis. |
The Laboratory prides itself in its quality control measures as each sample analyzed by the Laboratory is subject to rigorous quality assurance measures before the result is verified and released to the client. The Soil and Feed Testing Laboratory is also committed to rapid turn-a- round times ranging from 1 to 2 working days for plant tissue to 3 to 4 working days for soil and greenhouse analysis. |
The Laboratory is located in the Federal Research Station building at 440 University Avenue in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Samples may be delivered directly to the Lab or any District Agricultural Office within the Province. For more information, contact the Lab Supervisor, Tracy Wood.
