Pets
Our accommodations, campground, things to do, and tour searches can be used to find facilities which allow pets. The PEI Humane Society can provide additional information and advice on travelling with your pet.

Cats and dogs must be free of diseases communicable to humans. Dogs must be accompanied by a current rabies vaccination certificate.

Dogs are not permitted on National Park Beaches between April 1 and October 15, annually, for reasons of conservation and public health and safety. They are permitted on the walking trails and in other areas of the park, but must be on a leash the length of which may not exceed three metres, or in a kennel capable of holding the animal.

Dogs are allowed on Provincial Park beaches as long as they are leashed and the owners pick up after them.

There are several Veterinary Clinics and kennels on the Island to help you care for your pet.
