2007 University Research Awards Winners
Dr. Louise Dandurand, Vice-President, Research and Graduate Studies, and Chair of the University Research Awards Adjudication Committee, is very pleased to announce that Dr. William Reimer, (Department of Sociology and Anthropology, Faculty of Arts and Science), Dr. Sofiène Tahar, (Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science), Dr. Muthukumaran Packirisamy, (Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science), and Dr. Marylène Gagné, (Department of Management, John Molson School of Business), are the 2007 University Research Awards recipients. Eric Molson receives honorary doctorate at fall Convocation
In recognition of his exceptional career as a leader of Canadian industry, his remarkable social engagement and his contribution to Concordia University, former Chancellor Eric Molson received an honorary doctorate at the university’s fall convocation ceremonies on Monday, November 20, 2006 in the Salle Wilfrid Pelletier at Place des Arts.
