Pitseolak describes the setting on which this print is based: "We would often camp at Natsilik, a place about a week's journey from the Cape Dorset, near many lakes. It has the most beautiful drinking water, the most beautiful water I had ever found." (Pitseolak in Eber, 1971).

Pitseolak décrit ce qui lui a inspiré sa gravure : « Nous campions souvent à Natsilik qui se trouve à une semaine de voyage de Cape Dorset. Il y a là beaucoup de lacs. C'est là que j'ai bu la meilleure eau du monde, de l'eau merveilleuse. » (Pitseolak in Eber, 1971)
