Water Tours

What better way to experience the natural beauty and serenity of Prince Edward Island than a tour by water? There are many and varied opportunities available - you can take the more active approach and paddle or try your hand at deep-sea fishing, or you can sit back, relax, and let your tour guide do the work!

Seal watching is a popular and educational activity that is perfect for all ages. These tours through sheltered rivers and bays offer the opportunity to see harbour seals, mussel farms and historic sites and are fully narrated by experienced guides. In eastern Prince Edward Island, Cruise Manada Seal-Watching Boat Tours departs from Montague and Marine Adventures Seal Watching departs from Murray River. In Charlottetown, Peake's Wharf Boat Tours/Seal Watching offer tours of Charlottetown Harbour.

Try your hand at sailing with Saga Sailing Adventures out of Charlottetown, or enjoy a full-day sail on the scenic Cardigan Bay with Cardigan Sailing Charters. Sandhills and River Tours offer unique adventure tours on a 10-passenger pontoon boat.

For a real bird's-eye view, The Pier in Stanley Bridge offers parasailing rides as well.

All of these tours offer excellent opportunities for bird watching, particularly our many sea birds and the stately Great Blue Heron.
