Grant to Support Activities that Contribute to Occupational Health and Safety Objectives

To support organizations who contribute to the promotion of occupational health and safety in the workplace.

How does it work?

Duration

Projects are approved for a period of up to 52 weeks.

Financial Parameters

Funding may not exceed $10,000 in any fiscal year, to be paid to one organization or in smaller amounts to several participating organizations.

Who can apply?

Corporations, organizations, groups, or individuals that clearly demonstrate their support of activities which contribute to Occupational Safety and Health objectives. We seek to support programs that are national in scope and that fall within our federal jurisdiction.

The Labour Program will have the flexibility to give a grant on its own initiative to further an occupational safety and health objective. This is possible because of the development and maintenance of equivalent programs or services in-house would not be as cost-effective as support of external programs or services that are then made available to Labour Program client groups.

How do I apply?

Applicants must submit a detailed proposal indicating the amount of financial support being sought.
